Orchard Park Little League Baseball

OPLL Baseball is open to all boys and girls ages 4 thru 18 who reside in the Town of Orchard Park or in the Orchard Park Central School District. Our league board, commissioners and coaches are dedicated to the boys and girls in our program.

Our games are played on our Duerr Road facility in Orchard Park

The OPLL Tee Ball League is a beginner instructional league with a heavy emphasis on having fun.
Tee ball is for children ages 4-6.
  Must be age 4 by April 30th in order to be eligible to play. 
The season consists of a 12 game season starting 2
nd weekend in May and ending around July 4th.
 
Game schedules are released typically in mid-late April.
  Teams will play at least one game per week.  Games are played Monday thru Sunday.   
All games are played at the Duerr Road fields.
 
During the 1
st half of season, all batters hit off the tee.
Second half of the season, the coaches pitch to the batters.
 
Players will receive a hat, socks & shirt as part of their uniform.
 
Players are responsible for their own baseball pants, fielding glove, mouthpieces and athletic protection (boys).
  Heartguards are recommended.  Plastic cleats are optional. 
Head coaches are recommended to have 2-3 assistant coaches.
  All coaches need to submit a completed volunteer application to OPLL.

Orchard Park Little League is a totally Volunteer run organization, except for our grounds crew and umpires, which are professional teams of expert young adults. Other than that, everything that gets done is done by adult volunteers.  A lot of effort goes into putting together a good program for the kids, but it's a lot easier when everyone pitches in
