Meeting of the 2010 OPLL Board
President Report: Tom Roward
Ben Harp
currently has 18 teams in his commissioned league.
This league will be split to Assistant
Pee Wee with Shawn Gavigan as the commissioner and Ben Harp as the Minors
Baseball Commissioner.
Softball
schedules complete. Baseball
scheduled almost complete except Seniors.
Schedule
changes made on computer to paper.
The league
had a great turn-out for Clean-up Day. Thanks to all who attended.
By-laws will
be handed out with uniforms. Ben
Harp has updated the Pee Wee section of the By-laws.
Volunteer
application for everyone, no one works with kids without completing an
application.
Lakeshore
only having 2 teams in International League Travel.
Treasurer: Jim Biddle
To date 15
families have not paid for the upcoming season.
If payment is not received by 4/12/10 the children will not be registered
to play in the league.
Two sponsors,
new signed up on-line have not paid.
Baseball: Tom Prince (not in attendance)

Safety Officer: Jim Ryan
Held AED
training class this past weekend with 16 people in attendance.

Baseball Equipment: Don Jank
Uniforms will
be dropped off April 17. Coaches or
asst.Coaches should pick-up uniforms Sunday, April 18.
All equipment
bags are out except a few.

Clean-up day
was successful- 38 families, most age group represented -Pee Wee and American
League. Arthur’s did a nice job.
Most clean-up completed.
Diamond #5
will be a convertible diamond.
Reconstruction of a new wall in right field is needed.
Sponsor
signage hung on the field. Re-do signs have been sent out.
Tractor for
mowing is 15 years old; this is a high end residential tractor.
It is time for a new tractor.

Commissioners are asked to have each team within group donate a basket for the
Chinese Auction.

Annual OPLL Golf Outing, Tuesday, September 14 at Harvest Hill, $125.00pp.

thunder policy will be generated.

Get Injury
Report into Dr. Ryan ASAP. There is
an Accident Tracking Sheet for the coach and an Accident Report for the parents.
