February 8, 2010-Meeting Minutes

4th Meeting of the 2010 OPLL Board

President Report:  Tom Roward

Baseball evaluations have started and are highly attended and well run.

The Holmes and Murphy project is no longer a top spring priority for the Town.  The Town is willing to negotiate on the field usage fees for California Road diamonds in return for OPLL maintenance at Green Lake a couple hours each week.  The Town estimates that the number of registrants for the league will be down by 5% this year, so they are paying OPLL 5% less. Paying:  $8616

$1400 has been raised from the Registration Donation button! Thanks!

$6,700 is outstanding in registration fees.  Balances must be paid by March 1, 2010.   Payments must be made prior to a child being placed on a team.  Joe Stallone will send out a group reminder and than individually.  967 total registrants to date. 643 Baseball, 127 T-Ball and 197 Softball.

All coaches need to be approved by the board and must complete a Volunteer Application.
