It’s (finally!) that time of year again where we have had enough of winter and are counting down the days to baseball and softball season.  We are proud to announce that registration is now open for the 2023 season!  

We’re excited to share that we have also launched a new website. As a result of that, we have a new registration system, so you will need to set up a new account to register your player(s) and/or yourself for coaching and volunteer roles.  You can register at www.opll.org.

A few things to note:

• Tee Ball registration cost is $150.  The cost is $165 for all other levels of baseball and softball.
• Below are the birth date cutoffs for age levels.  There will be no exceptions to hold a player back or allow a player to move ahead.
• Tee Ball - a child playing tee ball must be 4 years old by April 30, 2023.
• Baseball - the player’s age as of August 31, 2023 will determine their playing level (ie., a player turning 9 years old on September 1 will be considered an 8-year-old).
• Softball - the player’s age as of December 31, 2022 will determine their playing level (ie., a player turning 9 years old on January 1, 2023 will be considered an 8-year-old).

• This year, we have linked our registration with Little League of America to allow for participation in the Little League World Series Tournament.  In doing so, the registration form has a section that asks for a proof of residency.  Since this is only for the players who will be participating on the tournament teams (those tryouts have not yet occurred), you can simply press “Continue” to bypass this section.  In the event your player will participate on one of the tournament teams, you will be asked to update your account information at that time.
• If you would like to request a specific coach or to be on the same team as another player, please include that information in the special requests section of the registration form.  We will not be able to take requests outside of the system.  Also note that player and coach requests are not guaranteed and are only considered at the Tee Ball and PeeWee levels for baseball, as a drafting system to determine teams begins with the Juniors level.  While drafting occurs at all softball levels, special requests will be considered, but not guaranteed.
