Welcome to the OP Baseball Academy! Organized by coaches Jake Harford and Tommy LaCongo, the Academy gives young athletes the skills and knowledge they need to reach their baseball dreams. The coaches are committed to the long-term development of the athletes - as players and as people. The Academy hopes to build a culture focused on daily improvement and commitment to the process.
The Academy will be offering programming throughout the year, which will be communicated to our OPLL community via email and on the OPLL Facebook page. Program registration and information can also be found on our website. Below are two upcoming programs now open for registration:
February Youth Camp (ages 8-12)
February 20 & 21
9am-1pm
Instructors: Jake Harford, Tommy LaCongo, and Ryan MacCarrick
Players will receive college level instruction in fielding, hitting, throwing, and baserunning. Lunch will be provided (pizza and Gatorade).
Cost: $80
Pitching 101 (ages 8-12)
February 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 & 28
4pm-5pm
Instructor: Jake Harford
This will be an introduction to throwing and pitching fundamentals. This is great for young players who want to get a head start on the upcoming season.
